Getting from A to B should not stop you doing what you want. We provide NDIS transport and travel assistance in Melton, Williams Landing, Caroline Springs and nearby suburbs in Melbourne’s west, for trips to appointments, work, study and activities.
Getting where you need to go
A support worker can drive you, or travel with you on public transport, to:
- medical, therapy and allied health appointments
- work, volunteering, school, TAFE or university
- day programs, group activities and sport
- shopping, banking and errands
- visiting family and friends.
If you need support while you are there, such as at an appointment or the shops, your worker stays with you.
Travel training
If you would like to travel on your own, we can help you learn. Travel training usually means:
- Planning the trip together: which bus or train, where to get on and off, how to pay with a myki.
- Doing the trip together several times, with your worker gradually stepping back.
- Practising what to do if something goes wrong, like a missed stop or a cancelled service.
- Doing the trip on your own, with a check-in call if you want one.
Travel training is often part of life skills development.
